In line with our vision and philosophy
to build a powerful after sales, we are continuously develop and
improve our service, as well as personnel competency, facility and
other customer service program. We started our improvement from
our organization restructuring to make it more efficient and strong.
On the IT side we have implemented WEB ordering system and Manidoc
to improve our ordering system, as well as shorten the lead time.
Meanwhile, we also improved our inventory control system in our
branch and site offices in order to increase the service level and
maintain a high level of inventory turn over.
Emergency call service, free delivery service are
also provided for customers. For customers whose site operation
in remote areas, we offer some special programs as option, I.e.
Parts Consigment Agreement (PCA), Vendor Held Stock (VHS) or Forward
Purchase Agreement (FPA). Flexibility in terms of sales also offered
to customers. We are able to arrange offshore sales for customers
whose import facility (master list) in order to reduce the parts
price. We are also continuously set up new representative offices
in Indonesia in order to increase our service coverage and customer
convenience. Currently, we operate 1 Central Warehouse in Jakarta
and 13 support warehouse over Indonesia.
In March 2001, PT. Indotruck Utama received an
award from Volvo East Asia-Truck for the Best Performance in Parts
and Service in the East Asia region. This was awarded during the
Volvo Dealer Conference in Brisbane, Australia.
