Straddle Carrier System

The straddle carriers is capable of satisfying all different load handling needs in a container terminal : Transporting containers between ship-to-shore cranes and container stacks, stacking containers up to 4-high in the stacking area, and loading and unloading trucks and railway wagons. The straddle carriers can both stack and transport containers.

High speed loading and unloading vessels and road trucks
The ship-to-shore crane can work at maximum speed and high gate productivity is achieved.

Labor efficient:
Normally only two straddle carriers needed to serve one ship-to-shore crane.

No need for supporting terminal equipment
Low nuber of machines : low capital cost.

Good selectivity
The needed container can be easily accessed.
