Service is of course one of the major after market support and it is a prime area requirement for our customers truck operation. Service Department is completed by special tools, genuine spare parts, and factory trained technicians.
PT Indotruck Utama as the Volvo truck distributor strive to provide high level support as our main business purpose is to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.

Service Department support includes the following:

The main workshop is located in Jakarta.
PT Indotruck Utama accomodate the customers in many locations with either a branch or site facilities. All the above mentioned contributed to customer vehicle availability and maintaining vehicles to their genuine condition.

Many service vehicles are already available to meet the customers request.
The vehicle will be driven with 2-3 technicians to the location if the repair as per the customers instructions.

More than 50 experienced technicians are available and allocated between head office, branches, & sites.
PT Indotruck Utama Technicians have been trainer by Volvo Trainer at the Volvo Truck factory in gothenburg-Sweden or Kuala Lumpur-Malaysia. PT Indotruck Utama are proud to highlight that some technicians have the reputation as Vista Final Winners, An International Competition implemented by Volvo Corporation. The Competition includes both theory and practical.

Body repair, facility for repairing truck bodies or chassis that have been damaged by accident.
This facility is also purposed to reduce the repairing cost and increase vehicle avaibility by giving reasonable price and retaining quality. Body repairs is not solely for Volvo trucks but also accomodate other brands.

exchange components will be invoiced by this following equation:
A : Amount of replaced parts.
B : Fee (10% replaced parts).
C : Labour charge for repairing exchange components based on VST.
Total = A+B+C

PT Indotruck Utama Exchange Component program is provided for customer to help gaining such advantages as:

  1. Reducing downtime on overhaul components.
  2. Guaranteed reconditioned components.
  3. Reducing operation cost while still keeping quality by providing genuine parts that comply with the tehnical specification and Service Manuals.

The components which are including in this program:
Engine Assy, Gearbox Assy, Cabin Assy, Final Drive Assy, Turbo, Air Compressor, Water Pump Assy, Steering pump, Starting Motor, and Alternator Assy.

Customer Contrac Programs are prepared as our additional support that help customer to concentrate on their own operation while we service and maintenance the vehicle to gain maximum vehicle availability.
The programs consists of:

  1. Volvo Contract Maintenance
  2. Volvo System Service
  3. Mechanic Contract

Product Support has a responsibility to implement and schedule training, supply the material and publication such as Parts Manual, Service Manual, and Service Bulletin, special tools system in branches, sites, and customers facilities.
The training schedule not only PT Indotruck Utama Parts personnel and technicians but can include customer's employees. It is also customer who require knowledge to maintain and improve their truck operation. The training subjects include Parts Knowledge, Parts Catalogue, Parts Inventary, and all Mechanical areas. Our experience and expert people arrange the programme systematically and professionally.
